  • In the second floor the Power system simulation laboratory is fully air conditioned with 120 terminals.
  • Department has well developed laboratories like Electrical machines lab (AC/DC), Electrical Circuits lab, Power Electronics lab, Control and Instrumentation lab, Power System Simulation Lab, Engineering Practices Lab
  • Advanced Electrical Simulation Lab with all required machines, equipment, MATLAB, Pspice, Arduino and ETAP.
  • Modernized teaching aids are installed in the class room.
    Has dedicated highly qualified faculty members from both academic and industry.
  • They have specialized in different areas such as power system, power electronics and drives, high voltage engineering, VLSI design, applied electronics etc.
    Has augmented in the latest technological developments and new trends, innovations in their own field with the aid of eminent technological experts from industries for enhancing the knowledge of students.
  • A new seminar hall having all modernized teaching aids with a seating capacity of 200 is used for this purpose.
  • Many students completed and are pursuing Post Graduate programs in premier institutes like Anna University, PSG Technology, CIT and other INDIAN Universities.
  • Alumni are placed in reputed organizations like Tata Motors, Infosys, Voltech, HCL, Amzetta, SRM Technologies, and Aquatherm Engineering etc. All the students of Electrical and Electronics Engineering department are gainfully placed in reputed organizations or they opt for higher studies in India or Abroad.

  • Department installed grid connected 30KW solar power plant for Principal Room, Chairman Room.
  • Department organizes number of events such as paper contest, project contest, conferences, workshops, skill development programs and Faculty development programs(FDP) for the benefit of student and faculty members.
